Ralph has been playing and programming synthesizers since before personal computers, and midi instruments and presets. The early days of synthesizers mirror the current phenomenon of Eurorack Modular Synthesizers. These are individual synthesizer modules that all privde a very specific function and in the modular world, require you to know every aspect of the sound path to put together your modular synth rack. Ralph was around in the early days of presets, midi, sequencers and then computers. He can teach you ever aspect of this. He has taught this at Boston Universtiy as well as Berklee College. The lesson plans can be very indivually tailered to you or your faciities needs. Ralph has also consulted with conputer chip maker Analog Devices as they created a 32-Bit Sharc Processor now found in the Universal Audio Apollo line of Audio Interfaces, advised on a partnership with Kurzweil and many more. He has provided Quality Assurance to Kurzweil when they were Young Chang Coproation and has advise other companies and made countless demos that are ever evolving on Youtube and other Social Media. Ralph also has an 8-week program "Introduction to Analog and Modular Synthesis" that can be taken as a one-on-one or with a group of any size. This would take place on Zoom, or if in the Boston are, in person. If you are not in the Boston area and still would like individual lesson, fee would include transportion and lodging and expenses perdiem.
